These air fried tacos are crunchy, healthy, and oh so yummy! Easy to make within minutes. Stuff with any filling of your choice and enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Metta flour
- 2 tsp any oil (or ghee)
- 1 tsp turmeric, optional
- 1 tsp chilli powder, optional
- 1 tsp coriander powder, optional
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp carom seeds or cumin, optional
- Warm water to knead
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients (Metta flour and all the optional spices and herbs), pour warm a little at a time and knead the dough until it is soft and smooth. The dough should not be very soft, but it should be somewhat tight. Keep aside for some time (15- 20 minutes), preferably in the fridge.
- Pinch a small ball sized dough and roll into a small circle. You will likely need to use some dry flour so it doesn’t stick while rolling. If needed, use a large ring cookie cutter to get the nice round shape.
- Poke each rolled out taco with a fork a few times, shape into a taco, and put a some rolled up foiled paper so it holds the taco shape before baking them in the air fryer.
- Air fry the tacos at 375 F for 15-20 minutes.
- Once done. Let them cool.
- Stuff them with the filling of your choice and enjoy!
